Does anyone plan on seeing this movie? The plot seems to have strong Irish elements (and indeed, it seems to have been shot in Ireland):

In the town's colourful Irish bar – Celtic fiddles, glasses of amber beer, lots of knitwear – Michael sets eyes on Cathleen O'Connell (Sarah Greene), the comely waitress. Cathleen is at once flirtatious and sensible: even her look, a voluptuous prettiness, seems like a common-sense response to the windy coast.
Smith uses the Irish scenery as a kind of metaphor for Michael and Cathleen, and although their mutual attraction – more apparent than real; the two leads have little chemistry – is no match for the raging weather, there is an effective scene on a nearby island where the two friends go for a visit and become stranded by a storm that is beyond their control, just like you-know- what. Throughout the picture, cinematographer Pierre Letarte finds reality in the austere beauty of the coast and the warm fellowship of the inns.
And it's "based on a book of poetry." Very interesting. No idea if the film would be any good; but at least it sounds like it benefits from picturesque locations.
